Field Studies
Direct observation lies at the heart of my work. Time spent studying animals in their natural environment informs the movement, character and presence of every sculpture
Each sculpture begins with a wire armature, before being built by hand in clay or plasticine. Once complete, the original is moulded and cast in bronze using the traditional lost-wax process.
