LEOPARD ON ROCK
Leopard on Rock started with a trip to Kenya, where I got to spend real time close to a leopard resting on an outcrop - that stillness, that quiet tension in the body, is what I wanted to capture. I sculpted a small study from life in the field, then brought it back to the studio and scaled it up for casting. It's cast using the traditional lost-wax process, and hand-finished with a patina that brings out the texture in the muscle and the rock. It's a limited edition of twelve, each one signed and numbered, with a certificate of authenticity
