Foundry lead time for a new cast is no more than 8 weeks.

I made this after a robin took to visiting my London studio every day, coming in close and sitting near me while I worked until it was fairly obvious he was asking to be sculpted. At life-size it is the smallest piece I have made to date and one of my favourites - it will come in close, hold its ground, and watch you with real confidence rather than flitting off the way most small birds do.

It is cast in bronze by the lost-wax process and finished by hand with a soft reddish patina, kept deliberately subtle so that it suggests the red of the breast without overstating it. A limited edition of twenty-five, each cast signed by the artist and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

A robin started visiting my studio in London every day, coming right in and settling near me while I worked, and after a while it was fairly clear he was asking for it - so I knew I have to sculpt him.
