Foundry lead time for a new cast is no more than 8 weeks.

Wild boar piglets are striped, leggy little things at the squeaker stage, and they spend most of their time hurrying to keep up - a litter moves as a group, strung out in a line behind the sow, running to stay with her as she leads them through cover. This piece is three of them caught mid-run, one behind the other, legs stretched out and heads down, all following the same line.

I sculpted them after a research trip to Normandy in 2023, and made the piglets to scale with my Wild Boar, so the two can be bought and shown together.

It is cast in bronze by the lost-wax process and finished by hand with a patina worked into the surface, so the form holds the light along the length of the piece. A limited edition of twelve, each cast signed by the artist and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

It's a low piece that works nicely down the middle of a table
